Basic Requirements
To ensure we perfectly recreate your pet’s unique look, we require clear photos from 3 core angles:
- Front: Eye-level, full-face shot of your pet
- Back: Shot of the back of your pet’s head/body to capture full fur patterns
- Side: Profile shot to show your pet’s exact facial structure and proportions
Note: additional photos are required for unique fur patterns and special characteristics of your pet.
1. Natural Lighting
Soft, natural daylight is the best way to capture your pet’s true fur color and fine details.
- ✅ Do: Take photos near a window or outdoors on an overcast day, with even, soft natural light
- ❌ Don’t: Use harsh direct flash, strong backlighting, or dark dim environments that wash out or hide your pet’s features
2. No Filter
Filters and color-altered edits will distort your pet’s true fur color and facial details.
- ✅ Do: Use original, unedited photos with natural, true-to-life colors
- ❌ Don’t: Use filtered, color-graded, or heavily edited photos that change your pet’s natural appearance
3. Confirm Your Main Reference
To ensure we match your pet’s exact look, please confirm these key details with your reference photos:
- Haircut: Specify if your pet has a short haircut or long full fur, and share photos of their current coat length
- Age: Share photos that show your pet’s current age-related features (e.g. gray fur, facial changes)
- Season: Let us know if the photos are from a specific season, as your pet’s coat thickness will change between winter and summer
4. Clear Photo
Sharp, in-focus photos are essential for us to capture every tiny detail of your pet.
- ✅ Do: Use photos that are in sharp focus, with clear facial features and fur texture
- ❌ Don’t: Use blurry, out-of-focus, or motion-blurred photos where fine details are not visible
